Garcia Peoples have been reminding people that north Jersey isn’t just pop punk for a few years now. “One at a Time” feels like a thesis project of how to pull bits and pieces from your favorite psychedelic legends and infuse them into a singular sound.

This darling psychedelic outfit is really coming into their own. Through every new release I find myself liking Garcia Peoples more and more. They have continued to develop the unique motifs and quirks.Taking their ambitious and sprawling hour long jams and distilling the same emotion them into tight four minute track is no small feat. Garcia Peoples pulls it off. “One at a Time” Is a strong psychedelic track, and is going to appeal to anyone with a passing interest in the genre. It is obvious at the end of the song that is a piece of a larger puzzle as it cuts off abruptly. Even still it stands on its own as a swell tune.

“One at a Time”, the new single from obviously massive Jerry fans The Garcia Peoples is a spacy trip. I know this is clearly a band that wears its influences on its sleeve, but I did find the twinkly guitar work to almost give me some faint hints/reminders of other groovy guitar-heavy riffers like Covet. Yeah, as far as first impressions go this is a fucking great one.
