Hello there, Tell us about yourself. Who is Middle Part?

Middle Part is the hardest band in NYC, a whiny nineties wannabe pop duo that talk a lot of shit in their songs.

What is the collaborative process like between you and Brian Zaremba?

Screaming at each other until a hit comes out.

What was the first concert you ever went to?

Can you tell us about your upcoming single “So Dramatic”? What was the inspiration behind it?

I wrote it about someone specifically that I won't name here, but the sentiment is my thoughts on superficial ass posers that don't move right and say shit behind your back and how you should cut those toxic shleebs out of your life because giving energy to that shit is wack...and a little bit of Avril Lavigne sprinkled in.

Can your music be broken down to a mathematical formula?

As long as you can count to ten you can write music like this.

What attracts you to the dreamier atmospheric side of pop?

I'm reluctantly attracted to pop music.

Did you ever get detention in school? If so, why?

I had detention three times a week through all of grade school for talking shit to my teachers.

If you could bring one NYC venue back from the dead, which would it be? Why?

The Dance cuz that shit was hard.

Did growing up in Brooklyn have any influence on the music you are writing today?

We didn't grow up in Brooklyn, but yes being here in NYC has definitely influenced our sound.
