Meet Crimen

Welcome back welcome back. It is our old pals Crimen. A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of sharing our feelings on their album Silent Animals. If you have not heard it yet I suggest you have a listen. Also check out our review here.

They are here today to discuss the finer things. Like a lesson on how to wash your face. And maybe some magnetic super powers. Think about how much this information could vastly improve your life! What the heck are you still doing here reading this get down there and LEARN!

How to wash

your face:

A MAD-LIB By Crimen

In order to wash your face Maybe, you must wet your Pineapple in warm Coconut Milk. Then, Tropicalize it across your face 91 times. This will wash off any remainig Headphones. When you are done you should Drink the cloth in Quiet water to clean it. You should also wash your face with a Scrunchie to keep it smooth and shiny. This will keep also keep away Bourbons. Don`t worry. It is normal to experience Tennis Elbow the first time you try this. Consult your Radiographer if you break out in Epiaortic Vessels. This works well on your Heart too!

Would you rather eat everything you see or lick everything you see? Why?

We would of course eat everything we see, better with some mozzarella on top. You know, we're Italian baby!

How long have you been making music?

We've been playing together for almost 12 years!

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

We take inspiration from the music we love, though we all listen to different bands and genres. Our music is some kind of sum of all these influences. And we love tropical stuff like palms, pineapples and coconuts, so we always try to put some of that feeling into our music, which we like to be both groovy and noisy at the same time.

What was the intention with Silent Animals

Our latest album, Silent Animals, talks about emotive fragility and wasted loves. It sounds nocturnal and psychotic, though essentially it's a work about love and the exorcism of fear and anxiety. It represents some kind of funeral of our previous life as a band, a new start in our life and our music

If you could have any superpower, what would it be (doesn’t need to be music related)?

Our guitarist, Patrizio, is very fond of comics (yes, he's a nerd). That's why the last song of the album (Hit Mania Death) starts with the question "why do I read Spider-Man only on Saturday?", which is still effectively one of his greatest doubts. We asked his professional advice, and he told that he would with no doubts have control over magnetism.

Any final comments?

We are quite unusual rockers, some kind of psych unicorns. We don't have cool clothes, we don't feel like being the keepers of who knows what truth, we love the contact with fans in person and on social media (don't forget to check our Instagram page @crimenband !!!) and we don't like people who take themselves too seriously. We like real stuff and genuine people and we try to live music in the most genuine way. Sometimes this arrives, sometimes not, but that's our way. Goodbye Family and thank you!
